Sterling Park by Classic Communities

Construction and sales of BMR Sterling Park units  are on hold indefinitely.

A new housing development known as Sterling Park by Classic Communities is being constructed on a 6.5 acre site at West Bayshore Road near Loma Verde Avenue in Palo Alto. The project's 96-unit townhouse style condominium development will include 10 Below Market Rate (BMR) units priced from $208,600 to $383,450. Due to the large size of two of the one-bedroom units, a household or 2 or more persons will be required. Please see the Description of BMR Units for more details. There will be (3) one-bedroom, (1) two bedroom, (4) three-bedroom and (2) four-bedroom BMR units. BMR units will be sold in several phases beginning September 2008 through 2009.

The Classics at Sterling Park BMR units will be offered for sale under the City of Palo Alto’s Below Market Rate (BMR) Housing Purchase Program, which is administered by PAHC Housing Services, LLC (PAHC). Buyers for all BMR units are selected from a general Waiting List maintained by PAHC. Persons who meet the BMR Program income and other eligibility requirements are offered an opportunity to purchase BMR units that come up for sale in the order in which they are ranked on the Waiting List. Ranking is based solely on the date a person applies to be on the Waiting List.
